I think many of you will have already seen my Photo A Day Challenge entry for today. The prompt is “Close”. I put this photo of a goose’s feet that I took when he and I got up close and personal.
I found a new online photo editor today…pixlr.com. OOOH…the fun I can have! :) And did have fun with a couple of photos I took today when Dennis and I were walking.
We also found the standard spring flowers….
I’m not sure how I saw this slug…he was TINY (about the size of a large paper clip – if that).
We also saw some fungus that has popped up due to our recent rains….
We saw not one, but two random shoes within 2 feet of each other. HA!!! Two feet? HA!
We also saw a random bird’s nest, that must have fallen out of a tree, but was remarkably in tact. There was nothing in it, this year – but there were feathers so it was the real deal….interesting nonetheless and a mystery how it was on the ground in this condition.
We also found a scarf keeping a tree warm…
This fence should be very green soon.
There was no shortage of creatures in our path….Simbad (aka: Ginger)…
…don’t know this guy’s name, but he had ‘cattitude’….
…and Lamb Chop.
The daily hearts are both natural….
…and on Simbad’s “Peace, Love and Rescue” collar.
We were walking to meet our friends Gary and Michelle for lunch. Our original plan was to go to La Taquaria, the best taco place in the neighborhood. (IMHO) However, it was the most closed taco place in the neighborhood today….while we waited I took two reflection pictures in their window. One has City Hall in it, and the other has us!
These were on the wall of the building…
And here are Gary and Michelle. Michelle’s famous hand hasn’t been photographed for a couple of weeks, but they’re here now! :)
I’m heading back to work tomorrow, so will hit publish and get ready to get back to that routine. (for a couple of days anyway….I’ll be heading back to Victoria later in the week) . Hope everyone’s week is good, and steamy like Michelle’s! :)
