As I mentioned last night, I just want to share a few photos from my walk with my Dad yesterday….and will get back to today’s posting later….
The daily heart was courtesy of an insect.
The sun/light was perfect for flower/weed/grass photos…
VERY cool fungus growing on the side of a log. It was huge, about the size of two hands….but close up, looks like dinosaur skin. (not that I’ve SEEN dinosaur skin, but it may have looked like this… :) )
A couple more shots of the baby hummingbird. I am SOOOOO lucky to have seen this tiny little fella and his Mom. Cutest thing EVER!
Also rarely seen….the illusive bloom from the ‘soother tree’ and the dancey little wood fairy! :)
There were tons of water birds, some I’d never seen before….
I made a new fuzzy, purry friend. (Shhh…..don’t tell Neva!)
I think these garden eating deer, thought destructive are cute as can be. (Shhh….don’t tell my Dad! Just kidding)
If you look VERY closely, you can see this hummingbird’s tongue.
And finally, I caught a lovely sunset on the ferry ride back to Vancouver.
Happy Easter to everyone!!!!
