BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my friend Renee!!!!
Just a warning, if you are “icked out” by bugs, creepy crawlers both alive and deceased, you MAY want to scroll really quickly to the last few pictures on this post.
For whatever reason, I’ve been feeling a little “roller coaster-y” today, maybe it is the lunar eclipse tonight, or maybe that just sounded a bit flakey! :) However, still found some fun and some beauty around me.
As I warned, I had the opportunity to take pictures of all kinds of “creatures” today, both in my parent’s yard, and on the quick beach walk I took this afternoon. Here they are, I find them really beautiful, but if you don’t, scroll quickly…
The crab above was NOT impressed that I was taking his picture, and waved his pinchers at me to shoo me away….don’t worry Mr. Crab, I just want your photo, you won’t be moved or disrupted, so say “cheese”, I’ll get my shot and we’ll both get on with our day.
Speaking of crabs, I found this poor fella on a rock. He was deceased but in tact.
The fact he was deceased made it easy for me to a) turn him into an orchestra conductor with a tiny stick….
and b) Mr. Crabby, smoking is hazardous to your health. Oh…never mind, it’s a bit late for that….
I found two daily hearts today, one in a leaf in my parent’s yard….
..and the second on the rocky beach thanks to the way waves hit this rock. Thank you Mother Nature!
Speaking of the beach, here are a few shots from my rocky walk.
This just made me crazy. Beautiful beach, and some yahoo decided to dump their empty coffee cup in a log. GRRR!!!! There are several garbage cans around the path, so I reached through the spider web, and took it and disposed of it properly. Sigh.
I took these next two pictures on the road I took home. (it was the long way home, but the pretty way!)
Beauty in my parent’s garden this afternoon….
And finally, had a bit of fun with photofacefun.com. Rocks and feather shadows have become funny faces and an angel. A very crazed angel.
Anyone planning on checking out the lunar eclipse tonight? I was hoping to, but the clouds are rolling in. Not sure if I’ll be able to see it, but will have a look if I can. Happy Tuesday to all!!!
