Today’s Photo A Day Challenge prompt is “One of a Kind”. I was walking at lunchtime looking for my photo, but had a brainwave. My thumbprint is one of a kind, so when I got back to work, I inked myself, and voila…one of a kind.
Here is the day’s menu collage….breakfast was a bagel thin with almond butter and a banana, I had some green juice this morning, I made a salad with greens, roasted peppers, tomatoes, nutritional yeast, and some almonds for lunch, and also had an apple. I had some cucumber and a mini granola bar before yoga, and dinner tonight was leftover mini turkey meatloaves with rice and asparagus.
I had two walks today, one at lunchtime and one to yoga after work. Spring blossoms and growing buds are out in force…
This is under the on ramp of a bridge….
…old and new barbed wire….
…warning on a gas cover, only unleaded pandas should go into this vehicle….
…art in the Olympic Village area of the city….
…that made quite the hiding spots.
I’d never really noticed how big this structure is before…
AWWW…..what a cute little passenger!
Spring really HAS arrived, I photographed my first bees of the season….
The paddlers were out today…
…and this paddler disrupted some pigeons….
..speaking of birds, here are a few I saw today. I realized too, that some of the smallest birds make the loudest noise. They have lungs, and certainly make their little presence known. :)
I saw this crow literally grab this sandwich and fly off. The person who bought it was understandably unimpressed.
This duck is doing the airplane yoga pose. :) Leg up!
And finally, another first of the season, this is the first snail I’ve seen in months. It’s beautiful. I’m so lucky that my eyes went to the right leaf at the right time.
What “firsts” are popping up in your neck of the woods lately?
