Today’s Photo A Day challenge prompt is “Full”. I took this picture of a fern leaf today, full of seeds and ready to reproduce.
My day started out with toasted Little Big Bread with light cream cheese and avocado.
I took these sunrise shots off of our deck this morning.
This is Richard, he lives in our neighborhood, and I often see him when I’m walking to work. Today, he asked me to take his picture. (he’s done that before) Interesting guy….
I met Matthew, a very very old friend/former colleague for lunch today. We bumped into each other a few weeks ago, and met up for lunch. We’ve both come a long way in life, but we just picked up where we left off so long ago, and had a good catch up. I had kale and quinoa salad…
Matthew wanting to get in on Michelle and Carli’s “hand gallery”. Meet Matthew and his hands….
Later in the afternoon, I had this little chocolate on a stick. It was a gift from one of my current colleagues, because apparently, I did something that made me a “star”. It’s a stretch….
After work, I went for a walk around the neighborhood. To find a photo for “full” and to get some exercise. I miss my walks if I don’t have one. That’s a good thing….walking has become a habit. Here are a few shots:
Our quirky sand scuplting neighbor is making a series of what looks like the characters in Despicable Me. I’ll take photos and update as they come to life.
Cats were out in force tonight. EEEK…a black one crossed my path…
This ginger was scoping out the neighborhood from his stoop…
…and this tabby was chatty and had big bells.
This is a pretty bench with metal “tiles” made by neighborhood kids…
From the bench, you can see this view….
If anyone has lost a soother, a screwdriver or a set of keys, let me know. I found them. :)
Before the clouds rolled in, I had blue sky for my cherry blossom picture background…
These are the ferns from the photo above, with the sun shining through….
…a planter full of daffodils (like the shadows on the wall behind)….
..and some funky fungus.
Self shadow portrait…
…and a sidewalk with a heart-on.
I liked the way the red clothes pegs popped against the drying white laundry.
Finally, I walked by a very busy bird feeder….
Bad joke alert! Beware! The title and this warns you!!! Know what this bird’s name is??? Look closely…..
Eileen! HA! OMG…that is so bad….
When I got home, Dennis and I toasted the weekend with a glass of red wine and a few chips and dip.
Dinner tonight was rotisserie chicken with cranberry, stove top stuffing, broccoli with light cheese sauce and some mashed potato and cauliflower.
Have a wonderful first weekend of spring!!!!
