Today’s Photo A Day Challenge prompt is “curve”. I took this picture of the curve on an overhead train track last week. I also went on picmonkey and put black edges on the shot to make the bridge track ‘pop’ just a little more.
First thing this morning…..I admired the sky as the sun rose…
…admired Neva, who was looking adorable while she sat in her paper bag….
Had a bagel thin with light cream cheese and 1/4 avocado, and got a container of grapes ready to take to work with me.
Then…”Legs Up Chicken” and I met Michelle and her famous finger for pre-work coffee. Her finger made a fantastic perch this morning.
Lunch was some leftover turkey meatloaf, peas and yam mash from the other night, an apple and a ‘date ball’ (it is made with dates, ground walnut, cocoa and coconut). Before yoga, I had some berries (blackberries that I had in the freezer) and 1/2 cup greek yogurt.
After yoga, I was STARVING so had some baked nacho chips with the last of the light sour cream. We ate that while our curried chicken and brown rice finished heating.
Yoga practice #9 of 40…done tonight. Tomorrow is a double up day….so good thing tonight’s class was very relaxing, quiet and stretchy.
On the way to yoga, I captures some sunny moments in the day. Good thing I did that, apparently, the clouds and rain will be back with force tomorrow. Oh well…that’s Vancouver….
Autumn is showing its colors all over the place. It’ll only get MORE colourful over the next few weeks.
No fall colours on these leaves yet, but I liked the way the sun brightened the leaves themselves, yet darkened the “overlap”.
This served as a reminder to me, it may be cooler, but you still need to shave your legs….
…and pluck a chin hair or two. ( silly me…)
Here are a couple of the late season blooms that looked really pretty in the sunlight.
And a couple of late season spiders that were massive…..
Not too sure where this Madonna came from. It was on a rock by a busy pathway, and I’d never seen her there before.
Look closely at the ‘coach boat’ in front of the dragon boat. Not only is there a human coach, there is a dog who was obviously quite at home in the boat. AWWW….
There were no coaches for these paddlers, but there were LOTS of people watching them move.
Sunlight on water is very pretty. I bet the seagull would agree.
And finally….arrrr….this flag be a week too late for Talk Like a Pirate Day. ARRR….better later than neverrrrr. Arrrg!!
That be it for this wench’s Thurrrrrsday! Arrr! Bring on the weekend! ARRRR!
