Today’s Photo A Day Challenge prompt is “Space”. Um…doesn’t everyone have a squirrel in a spaceship lying around the house???? ahem. I’m not sure where on earth this came from (probably a thrift store) …actually, maybe it didn’t come from earth at all, maybe it came from space! (HA! just cracked myself up… )
And like many mascots, Neva beat the tar out of it, then claimed it as her own. What a mascot bully! Neva!!!
I was up and out to 6:00am yoga this morning. When I got back, I had two pieces of Little Big Bread with light cream cheese, lean prosciutto and 1/4 avocado. Dennis had the coffee made when I got back.
Later in the morning, I had some figs and coronation grapes.
Lunch was a cup of the lentil/carrot/yam soup I made the other day, and a slider bun with turkey, smoked provolone and chutney.
Later in the afternoon, I had a Halloween sized bag of M&M’s.
We had some plans tonight that had to be rescheduled (feel better soon G!). When we got home, Dennis and I split a pumpkin beer and had some popcorn.
And dinner tonight was the turkey/vegetable meatloaf (with a little bacon baked on top) that I made on Sunday with some mashed yam/sweet potato and some peas.
During my relatively short walk home, I saw a baby seagull fluffing it’s feathers and producing an interesting pattern (and noise)…..
…a spider who, in this light, looks ready for Halloween….
…and a BOATLOAD of several types of toastools/mushrooms/fungus that are popping up EVERYWHERE as a result of the ongoing rain in the city.
Not a toadstool, but couldn’t resist…
I’m off to prep for the day tomorrow. Question of the day….is the squirrel in a spaceship an actual cartoon character? If so, who is he?
