Today’s Photo A Day Challenge prompt is “In the Morning”. I took this photo months ago when I went for a morning walk in Victoria with my Dad. These horses were heading back to the barn after a morning walkabout in a field.
Today’s menu is dull but tasty….breakfast was intentionally the same thing I’ve had for the rest of the week (why change things up now? ) , lunch was egg salad on a bun with a banana and a Halloween Reeses peanut butter cup…and I have half a doughnut in a meeting that I couldn’t photograph. I’m not sure tomorrow’s weight watcher’s weigh in will go well.
After yoga tonight (day 7 of the 40 day challenge – workout number 3 for me) I made a delicious, relatively healthy yet REALLY unattractive dinner. I sliced some polenta, topped it with some eggplant ragu we had in the freezer, threw on a bit of pesto, some light feta and some olives, and baked it till it was hot. It is SOOOOO unattractive, I had to pull out the UGLY TROLL!!!!! A troll so ugly everything it stands beside looks instantly better in comparison.
Here are a few shots from the day, then I’m calling it a night….autumn colors are getting more noticeable by the day.
I think this spider was doing yoga – or flipping someone off with the left leg.
I like this bike horn. It would be even better though, if it spit fire when it honked….who knows, maybe it does.
Yet again, some amazing clouds over the city.
I loved the way the clouds reflected in the water. ooooh…..
There was a feathery kerfuffle on the water. The black bird stole food from the gull, and a chase ensued…
I saw this HUGE crab in the water. When I adjusted the brightness of the photo to make him show up better, it almost turned the shot black and white. (and the lines across it is reflection of a wall beside the water) Weird effect….
As shell with barnacles that I’m guessing a bird dropped.
And finally, a few shots of late summer blooms and greenery. Still pretty, but not as plentiful.
Wishing everyone a great weekend!!!!!
