Today’s Photo A Day challenge prompt is “Sweet”. Heh, heh….I went into Whole Foods at lunchtime, opened the bulk bin, then quickly and discretely took this picture of white chocolate wafers. I did not buy any….aren’t I a Rebel. With a Canon Rebel??? HA! sigh. Bad joke….
Here is a quick and partial menu rundown and a few of the day’s pictures.
Breakfast this morning was toasted Little Big Bread with 1 tbsp peanut butter and a banana.
I had a few figs and some of the super sweet farmer’s market carrots over the course of the morning.
Lunch was exactly the same as yesterday, kale salad with nutritional yeast, light feta and a peach, and some Coronation Grapes.
Before yoga, I had a pear and 1 oz cheese.
Tonight’s class was my favorite sweaty power yoga class. My favorite instructor is moving to the Wednesday class next week, so I guess Wednesdays will become my favorite yoga night. Tonight, I also signed up for the next 40 day challenge at the studio. I have committed to completing 30 practices in 40 days between this Saturday (the 14th) and Oct 23rd. Namaste to that.
On the way to yoga, I took a few shots…
I love the way the sunlight hit these kayakers, and also that their paddles were synchronized.
Speaking of the water, there was a BIG seagull kerfuffle for some piece of food. While I watched, I noticed there was a guy who had set up a hammock in the park on the other side of the water. Looked very relaxing.
Speaking of noticing men….um…the pig in me did a double take when I saw this. sigh. Badly placed handlebars sir…just sayin…and yes, I am childish.
Wonder how many weight watchers points are in this spider’s meal.
I couldn’t resist this pretty end of season flower.
Dennis picked me up after class, and when we were walking to the car, we noticed that the ‘park-a-park” has moved close by. I’ve seen a few of these mobile “park spaces” throughout the city over the summer. It is part of a public art display….
We also saw this man walking by. We’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that he is in a performance with the Fringe Festival (which is playing at various venues in the neighborhood) rather than just making a bold fashion statement.
We met up with our friend Tracey for sushi tonight. Here she is with Dennis.
I had some ebi sunomono, a half order of tuna sashimi, a double spicy tuna roll and some yellow town roll that I forgot to take a photo of.
Question of the day, have you ever “snuck” a photo and felt like a rebel? What picture did you take?
