Hope everyone had a good weekend. Today was a jam packed day for me, it’s pretty late so this will be a speedy post….
We had a hearty cooked brunch this morning, I made ham and veggie scrambles with toast and fruit. We also had almond milk lattes.
Early this afternoon, I went over to Helen’s for a visit. I have to share the blanket of color that is blooming on her lawn. Today was a beautiful sunny day, and these crocus’ were just GORGEOUS! Bring on spring!!!!
After my visit with Helen, I had another visit, this one with my buddy who is in hospital, but should be heading home soon. Yay! I took photos from windows at each end of her ward. Purdy….and the cloud in the second picture almost look like the mountain has a fire.
Then I had my third visit, I was taking care of my friends Kathy and Phil’s kitties while they’re away from home today. Regular readers have met this menagerie before. They’re so funny and friendly.
This is Indra’s “I’m going to give you a headbutt, and if you feed me I’ll kiss you too” look.
This is Maya’s “If you feed me or not, I will never ever kiss you but you may worship me from afar” look.
And Loka’s “feed me, play with me, look at me, me, me, me” look.
After the kitty visit, I run a couple of errands and got home JUST in time to catch The Amazing Race. While I watched, I made a pita pizza with tomato sauce, sun dried tomato pesto, onion, pepper, spinach, 2 dried figs, low fat goat cheese and balsamic drizzle.
That’s a wrap on the weekend. I’m off to do some prep for the work week. Have a great week all.

I am jealous of those spring flowers!! We still have six inches of snow in my back yard, with a possible 6 more this week – where is our spring?!
Love the balsamic drizzle on your pizza too – great idea!
