Happy Friday, and happy 1st of February.  (love this “old book” image.  Thank you google)

I’ve said before, I’m more of a process than a goal driven woman.  But maybe it’s time to declare some goals for the upcoming month.

#1 – lose at least 5 lbs.

#2 – Get back to regular yoga

#3 – Purge my closet of clothes I’ll never wear again and donate them (I admit, I’m a bit of a pack rat)

#4 – make sure I laugh every day, hug a lot, and enjoy the process along the way

Tomorrow is a new weight watchers week for me, I’m optimistic that the scale will be kind.  I’m also optimistic that February will be a good month.  Fingers crossed on that – for us all!

That’s looking forward, but looking backward, here is the point friendly menu from today.

Breakfast was two pieces of Little Big Bread with 1 tbsp peanut butter and a banana.

During the morning I had a fruit salad that I made with mango, blueberries, orange and grapes.

Lunch was a bento box with hummus, cucumber, celery, pepper and a mini naan bread.

During the afternoon, I had two of the carrot cake mix/oatmeal/pumpkin puree cookies that I made a couple of months ago.  (they were in the freezer, and we’re in “use up” mode)

I had a “jar malfunction” tonight.  I was going to have some of the chicken noodle soup that I made a few days ago for dinner.  As it was thawing, I heard a “crack” and look what happened…the jar shattered, the broth drained out….oh dear.   Time for plan B.

I was on my own tonight, and had NO desire to cook, so I toasted a high fiber bagel, put 2 tbsp light cream cheese on top, and called it dinner.

I’m very glad it’s Friday.  We don’t have huge plans but it’ll be nice to have a change of routine for the next couple of days.
