I have title block and need to hit publish…sorry the words above are lame!
Not to be a Monday whiner….but OMG…I had a HORRIBLE time hauling my booty out of bed this morning. However, if I didn’t get up, I’d never found this graphic on someecards.com. LOVE that site!!!

Breakfast this morning was oatmeal with blueberries, 1/2 banana and some sugar free syrup.
During the morning, I had a piece of the low-fat banana bread that I made yesterday and a cup of chai tea made with the teabags and almond milk below.
I met my Warrior Dash twin Sharon for lunch today. We talked about training for the race…and wine!
Actually, we talked about a plethora of topics, and the hour flew by. We went to a Japanese restaurant and I had some “point smart” choices, tuna sashimi, vegetable sunomono and edamame.
Later in the afternoon, I had 1 oz firm goat cheese with an apple.
Dennis and I did the “ships passing in the night thing” again tonight. He had his dinner before I got home, and I had a bowl of split pea/ham soup that I made yesterday (so good…I’ll post the recipe tomorrow – I just have to re-find it) with two pieces of toasted little big bread that I topped with light cream cheese, sliced tomato, balsamic reduction and lean prosciutto.
A few folks asked for the recipe for the banana soft serve I had yesterday, and again tonight.
There isn’t really a recipe, it’s just a frozen banana, and a handful of a new frozen peach / mango/ strawberry blend that was on sale at our grocery store last week. Everything goes into the food processor, and it’s processed until it’s finely chopped. I added a couple of “shots” of almond milk just to loosen things up, then you let it process until it’s the texture of soft ice cream.
I count the soft serve as 2 points, to be safe. I know technically fruit is zero points, but I’d say this is more than one fruit serving with the variety in there, so if I count it as 2 that should cover the serving size and the small amount of almond milk.
I’m off, Neva is chairing a “family meeting”.
Looks like catnip pillows, treats, hours of sleep per day and cord hazards on the table are up for discussion. And it looks like she means business. Silly… Hope your week has started off well.

Oh my look at Neva. I love her, your comment made me laugh out loud.
I love your meals for the day, almost makes me consider to emigrate to Canada, your place to be exact because I love what you eat every day.

I love proscuitto – I wish it wasn’t so expensive – the good stuff by us is $20 a pound!

I think we all better listen to what Neva has to say…she looks serious!
Thanks for the recipe on the dessert. I’ll have to make it one of these days – it will make a nice substitute for froyo, since I’m cutting down (sob!) on that.

Yeh, looks like Neva’s ready for a serious discussion!
How do you like the chai tea bags? I’ve tried many different brands over the years. I’m almost ready to buy the spices and make my own (I’d probably start with your recipe, and monkey with it from there).
The soup looks yummy!
